Frequently Asked Questions
Hello, everyone! We are here to answer some of the questions we seem to hear a lot. We figure that if it has been a question for many people before you, it may be something you're wondering as well. Here goes! Let us know if there's anything else we should answer for you and future clients.
What services do you provide?
We specialize in cabinetry and design, but we also offer a wide range of countertop selections as well as hardware, and we can help you in making big design-related decisions for your remodel or new build (think: flooring, wall colors, etc.).
When will I receive my cabinets?
This really depends on how the process goes for your specific project. Some clients know exactly what they want in regards to cabinet style, color, sometimes even layout, etc. and that allows the project to flow smoothly. If it takes some time to figure out what you're looking for, that's fine too! We just ask that you be patient with the design process, as it can be somewhat of a trial and error to determine if we're moving in the right direction. To speed things up, please have any new appliances picked out as it is extremely helpful in the design process. To answer the question, once the order has been placed, the lead time is typically about 5-6 weeks.
Are countertops included in the price of the cabinets?
Interestingly enough, we do get this question a lot. However, no, the cabinet purchase is just that -- cabinets. Anything additional (countertops, backsplash, cabinet hardware, installation) will need to be purchased separately. Feel free to ask for our opinions! We can typically give recommendations and design advice for any and all of those things.
How much will this project cost me?
Once again, this really varies per client. Each door style has a specified door factor that greatly determines the cost. Along with that, the price is dependent on the finish you choose, the size of the project, and each cabinet feature you "gotta have" in your home!
What will the entire order and design process look like?
The basic order process includes:
Initial Meeting - choosing door style, color/finish, design aesthetic, etc. (New Build: bring blueprints)
First Measure - unless you're building new and we already have your blueprints, we will then come out to the project site to measure so we can design your space!
Presentation - see your project come to life in computer-simulated 3D!
Measure/Confirm - once you approve the design and its features, we'll head back out to your place for one final measure to ensure a great fit.
Sign-Off Meeting - we'll meet you at our showroom to go over any last questions and have you sign off on our designs.
Delivery - we get an EAD (Estimated Arrival Date) once the order is placed, and we'll be in contact as that date approaches to schedule delivery. What we do need from you is a cleaned out space, preferably inside during winter months especially, to store the cabinets until install.
What if I'm not ready to purchase right now, but I want an estimate?
That's alright! We just ask that you be up front with us so we can get you some prices as quickly as possible. Many people have done their due diligence (which we encourage you to do!) and found that working with us was the most affordable option for them. We are able to get some of the lowest prices as a dealer and we choose to pass those savings on to you. We also try our hardest to give you our very best service, as our reputation depends solely on word-of-mouth (that means you!).
